Pinterest does not have its own affiliate program. Pinterest says it "isn't part of the affiliate agreements," so you join a merchant's program or a network and put that program's link on your Pins; it names Rakuten, LTK, Shop Style and Amazon Associates US as its official partners. Below are 15 affiliate programs for Pinterest, grouped by niche, with the commission, the cookie length and what each program says about linking from social platforms like Pinterest. Every number comes from the program's own terms or help pages, checked on October 29, 2026. Programs whose official terms we could not read today are listed separately instead of guessed.

Does Pinterest have its own affiliate program?

No. Pinterest's creator guide Getting started with affiliate links on Pinterest says: "Pinterest isn't part of the affiliate agreements, so you'll need to choose an affiliate network." Pinterest does not pay commissions and does not approve your application. It does set the rules for how affiliate links behave on Pins, which our Pinterest affiliate marketing guide covers in full.

The "Pinterest affiliate program" people search for is really one of three things: a merchant program (Amazon, Walmart, Viator), a network that holds many merchants (Rakuten, Awin, CJ, impact.com), or a creator shopping platform (LTK, ShopMy). If you are looking for a way Pinterest pays you directly, read does Pinterest pay creators.

How we checked these programs

For each program we read its own affiliate page, help center or legal terms on October 29, 2026, and recorded four things:

  • Commission: as the program states it. Networks do not have one rate; each brand sets its own.
  • Cookie or referral window: how long after a click a purchase still earns you a commission.
  • Linking from Pinterest: whether the terms accept social profiles, require a website, or say nothing. Few programs name Pinterest, so we quote what they do say.
  • Entry rules: follower minimums, residency or a website requirement.

Terms change. Treat this table as a starting point, and reread a program's current terms before you build Pins around it.

The programs by niche

Marketplaces: Amazon Associates and Walmart

Amazon has the widest catalog and the lowest barrier to a first sale, but its rates are low and its rules are strict. Its Standard Commission Income Statement pays 4.5% on Kitchen and Physical Books, 3% on Home, Furniture and Toys, 4% on Apparel and "All Other Categories", 10% on Luxury Beauty and 1% on Grocery. A session ends 24 hours after the click, and items added to the cart in that time still count if the order is completed within 89 days. The catch for Pinterest: Amazon's application help lists the social networks it accepts as Sites, and as of October 29, 2026 Pinterest is not on that list. Our Amazon affiliate on Pinterest guide explains the routes that do work, including Pinterest's Amazon Storefront Linking.

Walmart Affiliates says affiliates "can earn up to 4% on each eligible sale." The cookie window and payout details sit inside the platform after you sign in. Walmart also runs a separate Walmart Creator program for US residents 18 and older who share content on social media.

Creator shopping platforms: LTK and ShopMy

These suit fashion, beauty and home Pinners because one account gives you links to many brands. LTK's FAQ says "you can link to LTK on any platform you use," and that creators outside the US and Canada need at least 5,000 followers. LTK is one of the four partners Pinterest names. ShopMy's help center puts typical commissions at 10% to 30% and says the referral window runs from one browser session up to 30 days, "entirely up to the brands discretion." Both review applications, so expect to show consistent content first.

Networks: Rakuten, Awin, CJ and impact.com

Networks hold thousands of merchant programs under one login, so they are how you reach brands like home stores, craft suppliers and beauty labels that do not run their own program. Each merchant sets its own commission and cookie, and each can approve or decline you separately.

  • Rakuten Advertising is the network Pinterest names as an official partner. Its network policies (updated July 13, 2026) accept social influencers with at least 500 followers who have published at least 5 posts in the previous 6 months, and list Pinterest among the platforms whose rules you must follow.
  • Awin absorbed ShareASale. Awin says "ShareASale is now part of Awin" and new users should sign up with Awin directly. Sign-up asks for your website and lets you add social profiles.
  • CJ Affiliate says you need an active website to apply as a publisher, so it fits Pinners with a blog.
  • impact.com is free for creators and asks you to add at least one verified property. Envato and Walmart run their programs on it.

Travel: Viator and Expedia Group

Travel is a planning category, and Pinterest is where many trips start. Viator pays "8% commission on any experience booked within 30 days" and has "no traffic or follower minimums." Expedia Group's creator program uses a 7-day booking window with last-click attribution; its rates are only visible inside the affiliate dashboard after you sign in.

Digital products: Creative Market and Envato

If your Pins are about design, printables, branding or content creation, these pay well per sale. Creative Market pays 20% on new customers, 10% on returning customers and 30% on memberships within 30 days of the click. Envato pays fixed amounts per subscriber by plan, with a 90-day first-click cookie. Both sell products you can show visually in a Pin, such as a template mockup or a font sample.

Blogging and online business: Shopify, Bluehost and Hostinger

Pinners in the "start a blog" or "start a business" niche can promote the tools their readers need. Shopify pays up to $150 per qualified referral with a 30-day tracking window. Bluehost's commissions start at $65 per qualified sale with a 30-day cookie. Hostinger starts at 40% per eligible sale; its agreement stores cookies for up to 30 days and requires you to tell it every URL where you promote.

Turn product and affiliate pages into pins you approve. Once you have joined a program, PinBoostr turns the product pages and reviews you choose into fresh Pins with keyword-led titles and descriptions. You approve each Pin before it publishes through the official Pinterest API. See Pinterest affiliate marketing automation.

Programs we checked but left out

Fewer real rows beat guessed ones. These programs are popular with Pinners, but we could not confirm their numbers on an official page on October 29, 2026:

  • Etsy: its affiliate page promises "competitive commissions" and a "competitive" cookie period but publishes no figures. Its Creator Collective asks for at least 500 followers on an authorized channel without listing the channels.
  • Booking.com: its page sends sign-ups to CJ and gives no rate or cookie length.
  • Target, Wayfair, Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, Michaels, Cricut, HelloFresh, Thrive Market and GetYourGuide: their official terms pages either did not load for us or keep the numbers behind a login. Figures quoted on third-party lists often contradict each other, so check the program directly.

The last column of the table decides how you will use a program. LTK, Rakuten (with 500 followers), impact.com, Viator and Envato accept creators who publish on social platforms, so they work for direct links on Pins. CJ requires an active website, and Amazon Associates does not list Pinterest as an accepted social network, so those fit a blog or a site of your own. If you have no blog yet, read Pinterest affiliate marketing without a blog for the trade-offs and how to keep direct links out of spam filters.

Whichever route you choose, Pinterest's Commercial and Branded Content Guidelines still apply: original content, transparent links, affiliate links in moderation and no shorteners that hide the destination. Test each new link with the free Pinterest link checker before you pin it.

How to start with one program this week

  1. Pick one niche and one program from the table that accepts the way you publish.
  2. Read the program's current terms, especially where links may appear, image use and the disclosure it requires.
  3. Choose five products people already search for on Pinterest. The free Pinterest keyword tool suggests search phrases to start from.
  4. Make your own images of each product in use, and two or three designs per product.
  5. Open each description with a disclosure, such as "Paid link: I earn a commission if you buy."
  6. Publish a few Pins a day, not all at once, and check outbound clicks and sales each week.

Where PinBoostr fits

PinBoostr does not run an affiliate network and does not change your commission. It makes the pinning side steady: Growth Brain picks the reviews, roundups and product pages worth pinning, writes titles and descriptions, and designs fresh Pins. The PinBoostr Chrome extension turns the product page you are on into a Pin and keeps your Amazon Associates tag on Amazon product links. You approve each Pin before it publishes through the official Pinterest API. Start free for a month with no card; plans start at $19.99 a month (pricing). FAQ

Does Pinterest have an affiliate program?

No. Pinterest says it is not part of affiliate agreements, so you join a merchant program or a network. It names Rakuten, LTK, Shop Style and Amazon Associates US as its official partners.

Which affiliate programs allow Pinterest?

Pinterest allows affiliate links from any program, but each program sets its own rules. On their official pages, LTK says you can link on any platform, Rakuten accepts social publishers with 500 followers and 5 recent posts, and Viator allows social media posts with no follower minimum. CJ requires a website, and Amazon Associates does not list Pinterest as an accepted social network.

What is the best affiliate program for Pinterest beginners?

The one that fits your niche and accepts the way you publish. With a blog, Amazon Associates is the easiest first sale. Without one, programs that accept social creators with low or no minimums, such as Viator or a network like impact.com, are easier to join.

Can I join affiliate programs for Pinterest without a website?

Some, yes. LTK, Rakuten, impact.com, Viator and Envato accept creators who publish on social platforms. CJ requires an active website. Check each program's current terms before you apply.

Is ShareASale still available?

Awin says ShareASale is now part of Awin and invites new users to sign up with Awin directly. Programs that ran on ShareASale are found on Awin.

How do I add an affiliate link to a Pin?

Copy the product link your program gives you and paste it into the Pin's destination link when you create the Pin. Pinterest says the link should go directly to a shop's product detail page. Open the description with a clear disclosure.
